Nina refuses to go to Ellinia. Al, Barrow and Gallus go there to find Ariba attacking the village. They meet Zuka, who is also protecting the village. He has the World Tree seed, but he is actually auctioning the seed. Everyone tries their best to get something to use at the auction to get the World Tree seed, even Anji returns. As Nina still refuses to go to the village, Anji says Zuka must be her ex-boyfriend. In the auction, Ariba has the highest bid, but Al offers his and his companions' help to protect the village when Zakums attack. Ariba tries to steal the World Tree seed, and takes Zuka hostage, but Nina saves him. Ariba retaliates by burning a tree and Nina returns again to help. Anji asks Zuka to give them the World Tree seed, but he refuses saying he can't give it to Nina's friends.
