In the end, Barnaby Costea is placed under arrest to be court-martialed for embezzlement and for causing the deaths of those who died in the staged prisoner rebellion, whereas Fyodor Patrichev is given an unofficial reprimand. Alex Cazerne arranges for Yang to be transferred back to Heinessen, and Christopf von Köfenhiller is released from the Econia Internment Camp and granted Alliance citizenship, as well as a military pension befitting his former rank of Captain in the Imperial Fleet.
